So I’m a counselor for this horse vaulting camp and during camp one of the new counselors was spotting a camper and I was watching near by while talking to our director when i noticed the camper was falling off the horse on the other side and the counselor didn’t realize so I ran up to the horse and was able to push the camper back up on the horse but slipped (it’s an all dirt arena) and got under the horse I wasn’t able to get up quick enough and then the house stepped on my leg. I have seizure with impact so when that I got stepped I had a seizure once I was alert enough I was rushed to the hospital and got an x-ray. I broke my femur. I had to stay at the hospital for a few days because my vitals were bad and I had to run a bunch of tests. I missed the first week of camp (we have two weeks of camp with a week in between the 1st and 2nd camp) so when I went back for the second week the counselor completely avoided me. Even when I talking her about different things that was told to talk about by the director she would avoid I contact and try to get out of the convo as quick as she could. Maybe she just doesn’t know what to say? I tried to let it ago but it just kinda bugs me. Even during our trainings many months after camp she still won’t talk to me. She used to be super nice and come up and say hi every time we saw each other but then in February I had to get surgery on my leg and the night before surgery she randomly texts me “Are you having visitors after your surgery?” and now ever time I see her she acts like she hasn’t been avoiding me for 8 months. I’m nice to her and all but it just bugs me!! Anyways thanks for listening to my ted talk
(I should clarify that this all first happened in the summer)
