Did you or plan to order breast pump through insurance?

So I went ahead and ordered my SpectraS2 pump through Edgepark through my insurance. They said it wouldn't arrive until AFTER baby is born. Did anyone receive there pump earlier? And are you planning on using your insurance for a breast pump?

My doctor said to wait because if I deliver before 37 weeks, insurance has to pay for a better one. I most likely will deliver around 36 weeks. That’s average for twins.

I did! I did mine (Spectra plus S2) through aeroflow.. I put the order in last week.. according to them, I should receive it by this Wednesday.

I did! I ordered the Spectra S2 and I got it within 5 days! I was surprised because I assumed they wouldn’t send it until closer to my due date?

I used edgepark to get my pump with my first and it arrived before baby was born. I waited until prob 34ish weeks til I ordered? And it came a couple days later.

They’re all so different and it depends on your insurance it’s a pain. I know a few friends who didn’t get theirs until after birth, some guarantee it the week before, I ordered mine through yummy mummy (the only company my insurance allowed) and they said it will ship no later than a month before my due date. My insurance didn’t approve the pump I wanted though so I ended up also buying the pump I want and have that already so I’m prepared but I totally understand the stress and frustration

I ordered at 20 weeks through Edgepark and got it a week later. Im sure the timing is different with different insurance.
