I'm gonna give you my "beginner's guide to opks"😂 you dont have to take a word of my advice but I'm just trying to help!
Ok ok ok ok. So here is what you wanna do. 1st download the premom app to track your ovulation tests. My favorite opks are the cheapie easy@home tests that you can get on amazon. You can get a box of 50-100 tests for $10-$20! First morning urine is not good for ovulation tests. So instead of testing in the morning and afternoon adjust it to later in the day- I personally test at 1:30pm and 8:30pm every day beginning on cycle day 10 until I get my postive. Also, ovulation tests dont progress the way that pregnancy tests do... LH levels fluctuate a ton in the time leading up to your surge. So you won't necessarily see a steady incline as you approach your ovulation day- that's ok and perfectly normal! By using the premom app to log your ovulation tests it completely simplifies the whole process because you dont have to physically keep your test. And then it's also really great because it completely eliminates the guessing game when it comes to figuring out if the tests are postive or not. It literally spells it out for you! Right next to the picture of your test it will actually determine your LH level from the picture. And will straight up tell you when you've got your postive! As soon as you get your postive it means you will ovulate in the next 24-48 hours. They say the best time to baby dance is after 24 hours but before 48 hours. But I suggest starting to baby dance as soon as you get your postive! I will post 2 screenshots of my logging with the app from my current cycle to try to show you. Are you testing twice daily or just once? If you aren’t testing twice then it will be harder to catch your surge and you may miss it
