Bringing pump to hospital??

Should I bring my breast pump to the hospital? I’m not sure if I’ll need it and last time, one was not offered.

I gave birth last January, and the hospital I originally was going to give birth at said to bring it if I wanted and they would show me how to use it. I ended up giving birth at a different hospital who said I couldn't bring it. I think it might depend on the hospital. I'd call and ask

No, my hospital only let's you use the ones they provide.

I have seen people say that they were originally told to being it and leave it inthe car, so they could show you how to use it. But now I doubt they’ll let anyone go out to the car and re-enter. I would call your hospital/care provider and ask them if you should bring it.

I wouldn’t know of experience, but I heard with the Covid-19 some hospitals are making you use your own. I’m going to bring mine.

I was only there for two days and baby was just on my breast. I didn’t start pumping until my milk was really in a week later. I don’t think you’ll need it but the hospital will have one if you do.

Your milk most likely won't come in until after you are already home! I didn't bring mine with my first and I was fine until I got home! Daughter born on a Wednesday and milk came in on Saturday
