Cough?

What can I give my 8 month old for her cough 
It’s really muscusy/wet 
I’ve been using the nosefrida & saline drops to keep her passage clear 
As well as cold apple juice because I read that helps

Honestly cough medicine is a con all it can do is smooth the throat as you swallow it in to your stomach so goes no where near your lungs. The cold juice sounds like a great idea as well as the physio xx

Last time we had a chest cold the doctor recommended some chest physio, basically just giving the back some soft pats working from bottom to top and back down. Helps break up the mucous. I would also use the warm humidifier in the bathroom get it like a steam cave and doing the chest physio there.
