Baby monitors! Give me any and all advice please!

Starting to research baby monitors and am so overwhelmed!

Any suggestions?

I like the idea of the owlet sock, have heard mixed reviews on the monitor that goes with it.

Want something with good range so that I can be outside, good video, reliable! Not sure if WiFi or traditional is best.. like the idea of having it on my phone so I can watch when I’m not home. But also don’t want something that will only work when the app is open on my phone.
