What does it mean if someone says I have a classic look?

My friend was telling me I have bone structure that makes me look mature and that I have such a classic look. Is this a compliment or...? I took as a compliment originally but I thought about it and realized I really don’t know what a classic look means lol

I take the classic look in the way I shopped for me wedding dress. I wanted a dress that looked good now and 50 years from now in pictures. I wanted a classic look. The mullet dress was a fashion trend when I got married (short in the front, long in the back) some looked really nice but it was a trend. People will look back on pictures and instantly know “oh that was a 2010’s look” 
A classical look in terms of beauty is basically the same, you have features that are basically unchanged and would be acceptable 30 years ago or 30 years from now. People with the contouring (overly) the Nike check eyebrows, the super skinny nose. This is all a recent look and will change and evolve. Just like body shapes have. This mega skinny waist and big butt/hip (cough cough Kim kardashian) is not realistic and will fade and people grow tired of it, but the classic look, will never. Consider yourself lucky someone sees it in you!
