Are you still going to your babies wellness checks?

We have our 9 month appointment this week. I don’t want to take my healthy babe to the doctors. I plan on calling and seeing if they can do it over the phone. Or what they recommend just wondering what everyone else is doing.

Me personally, no. For one, they’re the quickest appointment, and you’ll be walking through so much risk to get to that office room. For them to weigh and measure and say looks good see you in a few months? Nah I’m good. Go with your gut. Risk vs reward.

I called my doctor about this and he said if I have no concerns not to bring him in. I’m fine with that as I’m not comfortable taking him in if not needed right now.

Our doctors office has split between sick and healthy kids (they have multiple locations). So for that I still would. But i dont think I'd risk her being around sick kids. That said, this isn't going away anytime soon and eventually theyll have to go in. It's a tough call. I'd say if your baby doesnt have issues and has been following their growth charts and is hitting milestones I'd skip it.

My son Dr.office said they will see my lo back when he is a year old since that’s when he is due for shots again. So no appt for us till then.

My son had his 9 month appt scheduled for this month and it was canceled his doctor said no appointment until probably June.

I just went to my LO 9 month appt. My peds have set up early morning and afternoon for healthy visits. Then they clean and have sick visits late afternoon into evening.

Our LO’s 9 month checkup will be done through video conferencing which my doctor is setting up

Yes. Our Ped has changed their hours and the what type of visit. Well visits are 08:30-11:30 and sick visits are 12:30-15:30. They are also screening the sick visits. If a patient is running a fever to show symptoms of the virus they are sending a nurse out to their car to screen them before sending them home or to the hospital or letting them in the building.

Just had ours over the phone. They aren’t seeing patients currently at the office due to covid-19.
