Baby necessities

Ok so before starting this journey I always wanted to keep things to a basic minimum.. Getting what baby needs but not too much over the top or extravagant..

But now getting into preparation for baby and looking into what we need and what we don't need.. I'm getting lost 😭

Everything sounds as a necessity.. But I guess many things are not necessarily required...

We have

-a maxi cosi

-a bed with mattress (no covers yet)

-a changing table and cushion and covers

-a batch of clothing lightweight for summer months

-a diaper bag that folds open to be a changing pad

-a secondhand stroller we've not yet picked up due to corona..

We have lotion wipes but when I'm out I'm looking into maybe getting water wipes because of fragrance.. My partner's older kids use them for dirty fingers and mouth and I know I'll link that scent to baby poop once the baby is here 😅

So apart from diapers.. I need to know what I still absolutely need.. And what I'd want..

For example I would want the matress cover with the honey rate holes that allow the baby to breath through if necessary..
