Purple nipples

I have a call out to the doctor... But thought I would jump on here and see if any of you have had experience with this. I fed my 12 week old about an hour and a half earlier and then showered. After showering and drying off I noticed my right nipple is purple. I have no pain while nursing, or after, she doesn't always like nursing on that side but the flow is a lot faster than on my left. What could this be? I don't want to go in if it's nothing with everything going on. Like i said waiting to hear back from the doctor but wanted to see if anyone on here has experienced anything like this!! Thanks ladies!
