Retrival today... what should I realistically expect?

They retrieved 22 eggs, they said they’ll call tomorrow with how many fertilized. What should I realistically expect number wise?

Hi! So I’ve seen a wide range of results on this app so it’s hard to say. I would say it’s a “case by case” basis. Are you doing ICSI? We did ICSI because my husbands sperm count was low and 1% morphology. 
I had 15 eggs retrieved, 11 were mature and nine fertilized with ICSI. Six made it to blast and I had those six genetically tested.
I have seen women get 20-30+ eggs at their retrieval and have many fertilize or just a handful. It’s all about quality, not quantity. I think you have a great start already and you’ll have a good amount fertilize 🤞🏼💕!

I got 23 eggs 21 fertilized and after blast stage ended with 8! We just transferred 2 embryos Monday!!

It totally depends on your age, reason for infertility, etc. Also whether or not you’re doing pgs testing. For a young person I’d say you’d get around 15 frozen maybe, but for someone older you could probably cut the total number in half, so like around 11 or 10. Also if you’re young most of those will be healthy and normal, whereas if you’re older you can cut the total number of frozen blasts in half (even more if you’re over 35). 22 is a really good number, though, so I’d say you have an excellent chance of getting lots of healthy frozen blasts! 
I’m 36 and I had 16 retrieved, 11 fertilized, and 9 frozen. Still waiting for my pgs results in 2 more weeks, but I’m really hoping for 4 or more healthy embryos 🙏

Definitely varies I think! 
We retrieved 58 eggs. 46 were mature. We froze 36 of those and then did ICSI for the other 10. 8 of those fertilized day 1 and then we ended with 4 blast embryos by day 6. Non-PGS tested. 
Just transferred our first hatching embryo on Tuesday 🤞🏽🙏🏼
