Will you guys be getting an Owlet smart sock?

Hey ladies! I keep seeing ads for Owlet smart socks, and am wondering if any you guys will be getting one... they are so expensive but would give peace of mind, can’t decide if I want to buy one.

Yep i just bought mine! But this is due to my first child that stopped breathing twice as a newborn. It will just give me much more piece of mind. It is rather expensive, with my son I had bought a cheaper one that attached to his diaper but as he would wiggle it would kinda fall out of place and then alert me and it scared me so much. I was still thankful for it as I'd rather wake up to see him still breathing, but it caused me so much anxiety. I saved up and got the owlet for my own peace.

I’ve been hearing some bad stuff about the actual monitor lately, getting hacked a lot.. I was considering before but not now.

I have one for my first! We will be using for our second! I would have lost a lot of sleep without it.

I saw ads for them while expecting my first. Decided on not getting it as I felt it would cause me as a first time mother more stress than necessary, especially if it wouldn't work as it should. Also, my baby has been sleeping next to us since birth so that we could keep an eye/ear on him 😉

I considered it, but my son slept right next to us in a pack and play so I heard every sound he made. We moved him to his own bedroom at 6 months and we use a camera. 
I heard they can cause burns on baby’s feet so I opted out for such an expensive item that can do that.

Honestly I’ve thought about it but when I lost my son the funeral receptionist told me her brother used one for their son and he just kept kicking it off.
