Or just toss it and buy a new one? Since they’re pretty cheap anyway? The crib was handed down but to my knowledge I think my son would be the 4th child to use it

Sorry about the link, I was given my nephews old bassinet and his crib mattress. We ended up being gifted a new crib. I think it's fine as long as there aren't any recalls on it
