What do you y’all think about asking your partner about how many people they’ve slept with?

I’ve been with my boyfriend for almost a year now and never discussed anything about his sexual history. Should I ask him about it? What are your thoughts?

I think it’s unnecessary! Not important. Some people feel compelled to share this info but I think that once you decide to be in a relationship we (both parties) should be solely focused on what we have.

Lol my husband(not together at the time) and I were best friends through both of our hoe stage. We would go on each other’s tinders and find dates for each other. Who knew we’d end up falling in love 😂 were both pretty open and understanding about our past.

You can ask. But if you’re going to have an issue with the answer ... I wouldn’t ask.
My wife made a list of who she remembers. I was just totally curious. She is not the same though. She doesn’t really want to know who, she’s fine with the number but just doesn’t want details.

i don’t think it matters, its in the past and for some women or even men if your number is large they might not be happy about it so i find it best to just not know and assume he’s had sex previously

you can ask, but i wouldn't pressure him about it, and i would be prepared for an answer you might not like. if you think you'll view him differently based in his sexual history, don't ask. the only thing about sexual history that's relevant and most important is getting tested and being open to your partner about things that affect them (stis, etc.).

Most people are uncomfortable with those types of questions. My fiancé and I have been very open about our sexual histories. We accept what was before we had each other.
