Do you leave your little ones lovey in with them after they fell asleep?

My first never took to the little loveys, my second has. I always take it away after he has settled and before I step away, but I feel like he would sleep better if I left it in there. Is it safe to do so? Does anyone leave theirs? Tia and please no negativity, an honest question and I have not left it in with him, just wondering if it’s something some moms do.

I wouldn’t leave it in there because there’s a high risk of them pulling it over their face. I know it sounds like it would help them sleep longer and such but not worth the risk.

Plenty of mothers leave them in with their babies, personally I take my babies safety very seriously and would never leave one, with my baby I might if I’m sitting right next to them, watching the whole time. 
I really wouldn’t want to take the slight chance that my baby might suffocate on it, it never be able to forgive myself, if that were to happen.

At 10 months I started letting her keep her lovey to sleep with. She could move it away from her face if needed. She has done great! She’s a year old now and she loooves her lovey.

Depends on baby's age. I started leaving my daughter's blanket in her crib the week she turned one.

How old is your LO? I let mine sleep with a small soft toy from 16 months- I didn’t want to do it before 12 months because of the SIDS risk, he was sleeping fine then was unwell at 16 months and had a bit of sleep regression as a result so I tried the soft toy and he took to it.
