Guidance for a 21 year old

I’m contemplating moving to Texas with my cousin to get a new start in life and to finish college and staying til December until I get my own place. My best friend recently offered for me to become her roommate in LA. I always wanted to move and I think it would be a lot of fun but I know it might be a lot of distractions. I told her yes out of excitement but now I’m kinda regretting it. I feel horrible but neither one of us has saved up any money, found other roommates, or found a place and we are supposed to be moving in 4 months! I don’t want to let her down but I feel like we are being unrealistic and I kinda feel like a last resort. Am I wrong for this?
