12 month wellness check cancelled?

I was hoping to talk to our pediatrician about it first but how much whole milk are you all feeding your babies? I was already in the process of transitioning her when our appointment got cancelled. I plan on contacting their office but wanted some feedback from mama doing the same.

Just had her 12 month today, my LO does not like milk at all, her doctor said milk is technically not essential and as long as she eats well and has food that has calcium that’s all she needs

We offer milk at every meal after food and water in between meals in a sippy of she gets thirsty. It's around 18 oz a day sometimes more sometimes less

My daughter nurses twice a day and drinks water in a cup. I told our pediatrician she showed no interest in whole milk or breast milk in a cup. He said that’s probably healthier. He said it’s a misconception that they need whole milk, because back in the day calcium was hard to come by and now it’s in everything. He told me his absolute maximum allotted amount of whole milk to give would be 14oz. However, we probably just won’t offer it since she does well with water and solids.

Our transition has been rough so she drinks maybe an ounce. I offer her 2 oz, but all she wants is to nurse.

We just had ours last week.  The pediatrician said that we should aim for 24-32 oz a day.

I’m still nursing but adding milk during the day when I’m at work. My sons pediatrician said 8 ounces (over 2 servings) was fine. So maybe 16 ounces a day, if you’re not nursing.

I offer it but he doesn’t seem to care for it all that much. He might drink an ounce every so often. We just had our one year appointment and she said it’s fine if he doesn’t drink it. I wasn’t worried about him not drinking it, though, because he still nurses.
