Peeing a lot.. uti or normal 2nd trimester?

I’m about to be 16 weeks on Tuesday, and I have been having to pee all the time all day and when I pee I’m surprised that not more comes out. Sometimes 5 or 6 minutes later I feel like I have to pee again and a few drops come out. is it possible that I could have a UTI? Or is this just normal in the second trimester? I have never had one and I don’t want to go to urgent care if I don’t need to considering I live in Ny and the covid cases are very high here...
I don’t have any pain or burning when I pee, but I’ve been reading your frequent urination symptoms are supposed to decrease in the second trimester and I feel like mine is getting worse (and inconvenient having to pee all the time)

I get this too - it seems especially on the day after I exercise a bit too hard.

I had the same thing around 17 weeks and it went away as soon as I went on antibiotics so I’m assuming it was UTI related. It’s probably worth calling your OB and getting checked out. I know people who have lost babies due to sepsis.

This happened(s) to me too. Even posted about it. Some days its really bad and others its completely normal. I think it may have to do with where the baby decided to position that day

in my experience, its normal. i pee constantly even if i just peed and i am 19 weeks. it decreased then increased again for me. if you are concerned about utis, you can drink cranberry juice, they are effective with getting rid of it
