How dangerous is it to have Irish twins?

Just had my baby boy 3 months ago and I’m already pregnant again. They’ll be 10 or 11 months apart. I’ve looked up and read a little bit about it, but I haven’t really gotten too much information. Has anyone experienced this and how was the 2nd baby? I’m so excited but so nervous !

My boys are 11 months apart. The only problem I had with the entire experience is preterm labor at 32 weeks. We were able to stop it but I contracted for weeks until finally (37 weeks) they broke my water but he was measuring 35. We didn’t have any NICU time. I’m now expecting my third, he was born Nov. ☺️ CONGRATS MOMMA

My sister and I are Irish twins - my mom had preeclampsia with both and we were both born 2 months early - if it weren’t for the preeclampsia that showed up suddenly the doctor says she would have been perfectly fine.

Mine are a year and 21 days apart if out u will most probably have this one early I had mine at 37 weeks we was home same day as well Baby was healthy they are 8 and 7 now and are close to each other x

I have not had it like that. But you need to consult a doctor. Because you are in a preterm labor risk. And also all the risks are higher if you had a csection last time. You have to make sure, you are monitored more. Usually turns out fine, just can have quite a few complications.

My grandma had irish twins she said that my aunt was easier than my uncle which almost killed her but that was in 69,70 (my uncle was born first)
