Easter during Covid? How are you getting basket stuff if its non essential?

So I have some eggs and a basket for my daughter from last year and am thinking of ordering a few things to put in it online but almost feel guilty because it is non essential stuff technically. What is everyone doing for baskets this year? My daughter is 3 so still young enough where I could skip it and she would be none the wiser lol.

I do not feel bad buying Easter things for my kids, they need to know there are still happy things in this time and to me it is essential to bring them happiness.

We have a grocery store in our Target, so I was able to get Easter stuff as well as grocery stuff.

Someone on another post said she has her daughter bury “magic jelly beans” from grandma and it grows lollipops and chocolate overnight lol. All you’d need is the candy and maybe print some coloring sheets off the Internet. Watch an Easter movie. 🥰🥰🥰

I ordered from target online. They have gotten everything to me so quickly that they are my go to right now. My daughters Birthday is Thursday so I had to cover that too.

I got their Easter baskets and stuff a few months back before everything got crazy so they’re set. Going to dye Easter eggs. Then the baskets will
Each have candy,jump rope, bubbles and a coloring book with crayons. I am also filling plastic eggs with stuff for an egg hunt

Why would you feel guilty ordering "non essential items". The easter stuff is right next to the essential stuff in the warehouse. The picker is already there, might as well get what u need. 🤣
Get your kids the stuff, dont let this thing make you crazy.

My kid is only 1 so we are skipping Easter and Passover this year. With food shortages and stay at home orders and all of the morbid news - it does not feel right to me to celebrate this holiday which is usually unnecessarily excessive and frivolous in my family.
