2 weeks ago I had my first OBGYN visit after TTC for 1 year. I’m 26 years old and I told my doctor we had one chemical pregnancy in October of last year and other than that no luck. She did a quick vaginal exam and basically said everything looks good and to keep having lots of sex . I asked her if we could do testing and she said since I had my chemical pregnancy in October of last year I need to wait 10 months from then to start any testing. She told me if I had another chemical pregnancy that it resets and I will need to wait another 10 months after that. Is this normal? I’m annoyed because I know doctors usually don’t want to see you until you’ve been trying at least a year and I waited a full year to not have any help. Do they normally do more testing or have more advice at the first appointment? Thank you in advance for any advice, it is so appreciated! ❤️☺️🌻
