best friends?¿ help!!!

so in seventh grade, i made friend... let’s call him chase. he is a year younger than me, but i have a late summer birthday so he’s only a month younger. his friend group and mine all became really close and messing around. need the less, we all became best friends. over the years, we all stayed friends kind of weaving in and out of each other’s lives. i’m a sophomore now and he’s a freshman... we have lunch every day together and it’s only us who sit at our table so i get to see a lot of his cute ass face. i’ve always had feelings for him and he’s had feelings for me, while we have had other relationships... we both always sense each others jealousy. we are both single now but here’s a little backstory... my parents are high school sweethearts, my sister is about to get married to her high school sweetheart. i see my entire life lining up with him and i always have... i want to wait to move forward with him, but i think waiting would be great because then we both grow up a little bit before we date. but i feel like now would be such a perfect time to start dating. i don’t know what to do, any advise?
