Baby sitter part 2

Ellie wakes up and sees that George is already awake. “Morning. Did you sleep ok?” She says.

“Yeah I did. I’m in a lot of pain this morning though.” He says.

“Oh bless you. Do you want a coffee?” She says.

“Yes please. That would be lovely. Dylan is already awake. If you grab him he can come and watch tv in here with me.” He says.

Ellie gets Dylan and takes him in to George. “Be careful of daddies leg, Dyan.” She says. And with that she goes to make coffee.

5 minutes later she comes back up and says “I’ve just checked my phone and Cassie has asked me to ring her. You don’t think she’s changed her mind do you?” “No, don’t be silly. She might be a little late. Give her a call.” George says.

*𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫*

“Hello Mrs Smith. How are you?” Says Cassie.

“Hello Cassie. Yes I’m okay thank you. George isn’t but I’ll explain later. How are you? Is there something wrong?” Says Ellie.

“Brilliant. Oh no, I hope everything is okay? No there’s nothing wrong. I was wondering if we could make it earlier today as I have plans this evening that I completely forgot about.” Says Cassie.

“George had a little accident. We’ll explain later. Yes of course. What time would be best for you?” Says Ellie.

“Would 2pm be okay?” Says Cassie.

“That’s perfect. I only realised I didn’t give you our address when I was laid in bed last night. It’s 23 evesdale drive. We’ll see you later.” Says Ellie.

“Okay. See you soon. Bye.” Says Cassie.

“Bye Cassie.” Says Ellie.

*𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬*

They all get dressed and do a little tidying up. Dylan used his little broom to help sweep while Ellie gives the kitchen a once over.

Times gone so fast and It’s soon 2pm. Cassie knocks on the door so they all stand in front and introduce theirselves. Except Dylan, Ellie does that for him.

“Hi Cassie. Come in. I’m Ellie, this is my husband George and this is our little man Dylan.”

“Hi guys. Nice to meet you all.” She kneels down to Dylan’s height, gives him a big smile and shakes his hand. He holds his arms out for a hug.

Cassie says “is it okay if I give him a hug or?”

“Yes ofcourse it is.” Says George.

Cassie gives Dylan a hug and asks them what they want to know about her.

They all go and sit on the sofa and Ellie starts asking questions.

“So, how old are you how many years have you been a baby sitter?”

“I’m 18. I’ve been a baby sitter for 3 years now.” Cassie says.

“Okay. That’s great. Are you comfortable bathing and changing nappies?”

“Yes. I’m comfortable with everything. I’ve done everything. You’re more than welcome to ring my previous family and have a chat with them if you like?” Cassie says.

“Yes that would be great. If you give me their number I’ll ring them now.”

Cassie gives Ellie their number and she pops off into the kitchen to speak to them. Dylan following closely behind.

“So George, what happened to your leg?”

“Dylan threw a bottle at the shower door last night and a large piece of glass fell in my leg.” Says George.

“Oh, I’m sorry. That sounds so painful. Will you be here once Ellie goes back to work?”

“It’s very painful but hopefully it will heal quickly so I can go back to work! Yes I will be here for a few months at least.” Says George.

Cassie looks and George very flirty and says “so I’ll have some company?”

“Yes for a little while.” Says George with a friendly smile on his face.

“Brilliant.” says Cassie while winking at him.

He doesn’t think anything of it until Cassie comes and sits next to him. She slides her hand from the top of his leg down towards his junk and says “it’s very nice to meet you George.” Before Ellie comes back in the room she moves back to her seat and gives him a little wink while biting her lip.

“So Cassie, they have highly recommended you. In fact the dad didn’t had a bad word to say about you which was strange. Haha.

“I got along with them so well and I loved them all. It was such a shame they didn’t need me anymore.” Says Cassie.

“When can you start?” Says Ellie with a big smile on her face.

“Omg are you serious? Whenever. Today, tomorrow. I’ll leave that up to you.”

“How about tomorrow? That way you can be with us for a few weeks before I go back to work and we can get to know you properly?” Says Ellie.

“That’s perfect. I’ll get myself ready for tomorrow and see you then!”

“I forgot to mention that it was a live in job, would that be ideal for you?” Says Ellie.

“That’s even better. I don’t have to take the bus every day. Okay guys, I’ll see you tomorrow.”

“Bye Cassie. See you tomorrow. Says Ellie.
