Eating before induction?

Hey everyone, I’m being induced with my second on Monday morning at 8:30 and was told to eat something beforehand, but to keep it light. For those of you who have been induced/are being induced... what did you (or what will you) eat? Thanks in advance! 💕

I ate cause I had to go in at 8 pm. Let me tell you though. If you’re constipated and eat a bunch before induction it’s gonna have to come out some time. I’m just saying 😂😂😂

I had a sandwich and some 7up lol glad I didn't overdo it because the nausea and upset stomach were real during labor

when i was induced, it was 8 pm at night that i had to be there. so i ate a big dinner at cracker barrel about 2 hours beforehand and i snacked on crackers right before

Eat something with protein, all I ate before was a bagel and I regret that choice

First baby I ate sooooo much food before my induction they just gave me a cut off time thank god I didn’t get sick my second I was cut off at midnight I ate whatever I wanted again. If you’re going to keep it light I’d do something simple light toast granola and yogurt

When I had to be induced I had to be at the hospital at 6am I was super nervous and couldn’t even eat anything before. But when I was in the hospital they let me eat breakfast and lunch there and said lunch would be my last meal so I just ate whatever hospital food they provide me which was alright.

My first induction was overnight and I had to be there at 6pm. So I ate a good dinner since I figured they weren’t going to allow me to eat. Though I did sneak in snacks but I didn’t get a chance to eat them. My second induction is set for the 15th at 6am. I was told to eat a light breakfast like toast or cereal. I’m planning on just a bowl of cereal. I’m not a huge breakfast eater to begin with.

I was told to eat light, went in at 10pm and wasn’t induced until 10am the following morning because they were so busy. So, I’d eat light like they said, but pack a snack just in case.
