This is my 2nd csection. My first was an emergency one and since it was from complications from pre-e/hellp syndrome, they had to knock me out instead of letting me stay awake.

This time I'm opting for planned csection. I know it will be different than the first, but in what ways? Will they numb me first before putting in the epidural, or epidural first before they take me back to the OR? My csection is scheduled June 8, so I'm super excited yet super nervous too. I'm one of those curious people that like information, it calms me :) I'm in the U.S. if that makes a difference in csection routines.
