Alrighty, I’m so excited to finally share. At 10 (almost 11) days overdue, Lillianna Elise was born on 04/08. At 41 weeks, I wasn’t dilated at all. On 41+3, I was at 2 cm and my midwife did a membrane sweep around 5pm. I went for a walk with my other two kids, and continued about my normal routine. I wasn’t really getting contractions that were different than the ones I had been experiencing for weeks. Around 10 pm, the contractions were about 8 minutes apart, sometimes more. I tried to go to bed. There was one contraction that felt like she was butting up against my hip, so I went on my hands and knees. That’s when my contraction came at 7 min apart and my water broke. The contraction after that was only 2 minutes apart.

My water broke at 11:12 pm and baby was born at 11:42 pm in my bathtub, coached by my midwife through speaker phone because she was still ten minutes away 😳😵. 19 1/2 inches and 7 lbs 1 oz. She’s got her grumpy face down 🤣
