How do you stop replying so fast? 😂 I'm replying to this guy I'm into so quickly and it's actually embarrassing I need to slow down so do you have any advice on how to chill out a bit and not be as clingy?

Reply when you want to or when you see it. Why would you want to lie about it. Just be yourself. I’ve studied the sociology aspect of the “ waiting to text back” stuff- it’s dumb. Don’t condition yourself like that. If he is interesting and fun and you see the text- why would you not respond as soon as possible.

I usually reply the same amount of time it takes them to reply lol sounds petty but it’s the only way I can slow down my replies since I’m a fast texter especially in the early stages, so if it takes them 3 mins I’ll take 3 mins and so on like that

Turn his notifications off so you don’t know when he texts

Try not to read his reply right away. Then when you do read it you can just reply. Put your phone on silent and face down so you only check it now and again instead of right away.
