Are you okay with your SO smoking weed?

I met my husband at 18 and he used to party drink and smoke weed.. I never cared or asked him to stop. Once we had our son, he decided to stop smoking on his own...fast forward to years later and expecting our second.. he sneaks with his brother to smoke ... i think its childish and him wanting to fit in so it really annoys me. I never cared before but now that i have a kid its not something i want around him

just because he has kids doesn’t mean he’s a monster if he smokes weed. weed is good. don’t be a jail warden. he can smoke weed if he wants too, shit he already lost his freedom.

I'm not, because it turns my husband into a horrible person. He gets aggressive and paranoid and just wants to fight and accuse me of stuff. That's why he hasn't smoked the stuff in like 10 years.

The sneaking around part is a problem.
My husband smokes weed. I ask him to go outside, and he sits on our porch. And he only smokes when I’m home too to watch our son. For me, some people have a cocktail/wine to relax, others have weed. Just be responsible with either

Lol I doubt he does it to “fit in”. I think you’re overreacting. He could be an actual drug addict or a drink but instead he goes and chills with his brother for a bit and smokes a harmless plant to relax. There’s nothing wrong with weed. You also got with him knowing that he did it.

I don't think just because someone smokes when they have kids means its problematic really it could even be helpful sometimes. I also assume since you said he "sneaks off" he isn't doing it around your child. My father smoked weed as my sisters and I were growing up but we never even knew about it until we were grown.

I get annoyed if he's always high and I don't like the smell. I'm worried about his lung health too. I wish he would only do it occasionally and not every single day but I can't control him.

Yes all it does for my SO is make him relaxed, gives him the munchies, sleepy, more playful not to mention I smoked up until I got pregnant so it would be pretty hypocritical if I had a problem with it now. There's people who get off work and go for their wine or beer idk how smoking a blunt to relax is any different than drinking a few beers as long as he's not doing it in your face or your child's face I don't see an issue. Then again I'm pretty non judgemental of weed smokers my dad and majority of my family have smoked my whole life weed is very normal in my family.

I have no problem with my Husband smoking weed. My Husband uses it for anxiety. I used to use it to help me sleep. It’s medicine really so it doesn’t bother me. 
However in your situation what I would have a problem with is the sneaking to his brothers. If he knows it’s an issue with you but he’s sneaking away to do it. That would bother me.
