We really like the name Millie, but do you think it’s to close to my nieces name Amelia?

If they were siblings I would have said yes. But cousins, no I think that's ok :)

Not at all,  even if they're siblings it's not too close. My sil threw a FIT when we chose the name Myla and her daughter is Malia, I ended up choosing a different name because she ruined it for me but I've regretted it ever since
