Induction failed

I'm on my 3rd day in the hospital for an induction. Due to my previous section and this baby dropping on the growth chart I have to stay in hospital and am limited to the number of induction techniques.

I was fitted with a foley balloon catheter on my first day here. Unfortunately within 20 minutes it had to be removed due to it causing me severe bleeding. I bled all day for the rest of the day and had to have several large clots removed from inside me. The bleeding then subsided and yesterday I was fitted with a propess pessary that sits just behind your cervix.

Everything went fine. I felt it starting to work pretty much straight away. But as I got back to the ward for the night the pains dropped off and I kept feeling something scratchy inside me. I've realised this morning that the propess has fallen out.

My only options for induction were the balloon catheter, the propess and my water broken. However they cannot get to my water as my cervix is really far back.

I am in hospital all alone to start with, my 3 other babies are at home. And I wont be having anyone here when and if i do finally go into labour.

I now have to wait for a doctor to assess the situation. Whether I will be allowed to have the pessary back in for another 12 hours or not I dont know. But were out of options for inducing labour. I hate not knowing what's happening.

I just needed someone to vent to.
