Does a soap bag get dirty?

Help my husband and I settle this disagreement 😂. When you put your bar of soap in a bag like the one pictured and you use it in the shower, does the bag get dirty? Do you sometimes need to remove the soap from the bag and wash the bag?
Or since the bag is constantly lathered in soap, is it okay to just keep reusing it indefinitely?

That’s like saying “your towel should always be clean because you only use it to dry off your clean body.” No, you still need to wash your towels. You should still wash a soap bag for the same reason.

Yep wash it. But i wouldnt use that....id just biy a soap holder so the soap air dries.

I would suggest as long as the bag keeps it shape, you can wash it after each bar of soap my microwaving it for two minutes in a bowl of water with vinegar/lemon juice. I do this all the time with my natural fiber sponges and it works well

Just like how you need to wash a wash cloth or replace a loofa frequently, you would need to wash the bag.
