Anyone else experience this?

Ashtyn

So I had an ultrasound appointment last week (likely my last) and the doctor told me my baby was laying sideways in my uterus and facing my spine. I was 33w4d and I asked him if I should be worried that she won’t move into place and he said no. He told me she will probably move on her own and that I should ask to be checked at 39 weeks to make sure she is head down and facing the right direction. Since it’s now a week later and she is still sideways but feels like she is even higher in my uterus like just under my rib cage. I’m so worried that if I wait until the very end to check on her position it will be too late to move her and I’ll just have to have a c-section which I am terrified of for multiple reasons. I’m going to mention my concerns at my regular appointment tomorrow but has anyone else gone through something similar? I know she is still small enough rn to move her I’m just worried she won’t move in time.
