A2 milk for dairy protein allergy?

Has anyone tried or had success with the a2 milk? My son was on nutraminegen for formula and weve been doing lactose free milk but it's too much on his stomach. Dr said to switch to soy or almond but he can handle quite a bit of milk before it gets upset so I'm curious about this a2 milk. I'm concerned about the him missing the needed vitamins and minerals in thes milk alternatives.

We were on Alimentum for dairy & soy intolerance and still avoid both. My son drinks Ripple (pea protein) and occasionally Oat. I've read almond does not have the neccessary calories or vitamin D needed for kiddos our age. I've actually never heard of A2 milk..?

YES we use A2 Whole Milk (red carton) & my son loves it. His tummy would get upset when we tried normal cows milk, but has improved significantly since we switched 👌🏼 It’s a little pricey unfortunately but worth it in my opinion, especially as atm he’s only drinking 3 small cups a day. Good luck!

We did almond milk with my first because he was lactose intolerant and on Similac sensitive. He did great with it. I would make smoothies for him with it to ensure he got lots of vitamins from fruits and veggies. On days I wanted it easy I used the Green Machine naked juice (it has a ton of fruit and veggies) and mix the two together. 
I had to take him off of it because of preschool being a nut free building and they did not accept us bringing alternative milks (no outside food allowed). You can also try oat milk, cashew, and pea. 
I recommend getting the unsweetened almond vanilla for smoothies because the regular  vanilla is filled with sugar, and if you do smoothies for nutrients, the sweetness comes from fruits like banana.
