My fiance and I are expecting! He has two kids from a previous relationship and I have one (he has a girl and a boy 5 and 3 and i have a girl 2)

We want it to be a surprise. So we don't know the gender. But he insists on if it's a boy that he gets circumcised simply because it looks better that way. Whereas I don't want to but my potential baby boy under that kind of pain. Baby or not it's still going to hurt. And i don't want to purposely put my child through something that isnt necessary. If a doctor said he needed it for health reasons I'd do it.

We're fighting on it. His son is circumcised and he believes it's the dads choice to make not the moms. Thoughts?
