I normally wouldn’t be eligible for unemployment because I’m a dependent but I recently went and got hired for a job and they emailed me saying they have to rescind the offer due to the virus. I read something about being able to temporarily get unemployment if your job was effected by the virus. Has this happened to anyone else? If so, what are the steps I need to take?

Edit: i had a start date and everything but they emailed me saying I couldn’t start due to the virus
