If you ever used the DockATot is it worth it?

I really wanted one with my son and even still want the grand for him, but there are other items that are similar and don’t cost nearly as much. 
However they are 100% NOT safe for sleep, which is why I wanted one, but I didn’t want to chance smothering a newborn.
If he couldn’t sleep in it, a boppy or a blanket would suffice for me to lay him in the floor in the room I was in. Or move the bassinet into the room. 
We had either a swing, bassinet, or pack and play in any frequently used room. 🤷🏻‍♀️ 
I’m not spending that much money on something they’ll use minimally.

Wondering the same. Didn’t have it for my first but everyone loves them. Why are they so expensive?!

i plan on using a boppy lounger instead of dock-a-tot. they are a lot cheaper and accomplish the same thing. my babe wouldn’t be sleeping in either of these anyway, it would be used more as a place to lay them if i needed to do something. my sister also used a boppy lounger with my nephew and loved it.

Best suggestions get yourself a maternity pillow and once baby is born use that as its crib boarder

We went for a snuggle me organic instead. Similar in pricing and cradles the baby so he feels like he’s being held. We used it for like 6 months. Definitely worth it.
