My April 28th baby decided he wanted to be an April 8th baby!

He was measuring huge so the doctor scheduled a c section for 4/21 and then moved it up to 4/8. As it turns out 4/8 was meant to be his birthday because my water broke a few hours before my appointment.

It was a wild day. The surgery went well, but he was having trouble breathing so he ended up in the NICU with an IV and feeding tube on oxygen. He was there for 4 days. He came home on Easter.

Unfortunately 4 hours after he was born my father in law lost his 2 1/2 year battle with lung cancer.

I still can’t believe everything that happened. I can’t believe he’s home.
