My son just recently turned 7 and weighs 55 pounds. His pediatrician still recommends he still uses a 5 point harness booster or car seat. People judge us especially my older sister in law. She’s always joking and laughing. Saying isn’t he too big, or when are you gonna get out that thing and get rid of it, and sit like a “big boy”. My son sometimes gets offended, but he’s smart he likes his car seat cause he knows it keeps him safe. We’ve been in a car wreck before (some dummy thought he could beat the light by turning and hit my mom. He’s a bit traumatized. My husband and I don’t care about her opinion and ignore her 🤷🏽‍♀️ were all about safety.

But I’m just curious tho, any another mom’s still following car seat guidelines for their kid(s)?
