When to start tummy time/interactive activities

FTM and of course worried I’m doing things wrong ha my LO is only a week old and the day is pretty much him laying on my chest skin to skin while I watch TV. I’m also recovering from a c section. He lays on me on his tummy but I haven’t done other tummy time. So basically cuddling, nursing, pumping and diaper changes fill our day. Is that okay? When should I introduce sensory activities and tummy time?

That is just fine! Start more when you’re feeling up to it! Right now is all about healing and bonding.

Start any time! If your baby is on their tummy while they lay on you that counts! Another thing to do especially for babies that don't love tummy time is to do it every time you change them. So when you change them flip them over on to the tummy just for a few minutes until they fuss a bit.
