update: found heartbeat at home !

I went for my first midwife appointment today and she could not find the Heartbeat with the Doppler. She said not to worry as it’s early and will have me back in 2 weeks to check... I have had spotting last week so I’m still quite worried. My last ultrasound was at 9w ... she didn’t recommend an ultrasound or anything .. should I try and request one? I also ordered a Doppler that arrived today..is there any point in me trying it today?
