Okay so I had my aunt watch my baby yesterday and last night so I could get some rest and when I go to get her today she’s covered in this rash. Should I take her to the doctor? We have an appointment I. The morning but does she need to go sooner? Definitely more fussy than usual.

So it turns out it was the outfit she was wearing. It was the laundry detergent used. My aunt grabbed a outfit out of a pile of clothes I hadn’t washed with our own detergent (it was washed at my MIL house with her detergent) and she had a reaction to it. I called her doctor and she told me to give her a really good bath, and use 1% hydrocortisone ointment on her rash in a thin layer. And to wash everything that outfit touched and anything that went to my aunts house. Rash is already looking so so so much better and it’s only been 6 or so hours! She’s going to look at the rash at our appointment in the morning and go from there. But she seems like it’s not bothering her now thankfully, my poor baby girl was miserable earlier.
