Does your baby sleep in their own room?

My husband would like to move our babe to her own room. I was hoping to room share for a year. She sleeps in her crib. Just wondering what others are doing and when you moved your babes?

We moved our little one to her own room when she was 5 months old. Our room is street facing and we live across from the bar, so she had awful sleep on our room. Once we moved her to her nursery, her sleep improved majorly so we were very happy with our decision! Plus, we got alone time back which was major!

We just moved 2 weeks ago. She was waking up every time we rolled over. She sleeps much better in her own space.

My little guy went into his crib in his own room around 5 months. He started to roll in the bassinet so In the crib he went!

Yes, he’s been in his own room since we moved in February. It hasn’t been that bad. Everyone sleeps a little better and he has so much more room in his crib. I know it’s recommended to keep them in your bedroom till 1 year, but that’s way too long in my opinion. 
After 4 months, the risk for SIDS drops tremendously and after 6 months, it drops again. This is just MY opinion and it doesn’t encompass other families and what works for them, but I think around 1 year, it would become a bad habit of room sharing. My husband and I need our own space and we have another on the way come August. The baby will be in our bedroom; can’t have two in there! 😂

My son has slept in his own room in his crib since he was 3 weeks old. We have a video monitor so I felt comfortable with it but honestly I strangely had more anxiety with him sleeping beside me than in him being in his own room.

In UK nhs recommends for baby to sleep in parents room for 1 year so we’ll be sticking to that. My first born was in my room till 18 months!

We have her crib in our room. We have struggled with the decision also....

She has been in her room since Feb. We also have a bed in there so on bad nights me and babe sleep in there.

We still have a pack and play in our room for rough nights but she has been in her room since January
