Birth Control

So my bf and I had a SERIOUS pregnancy scare last month and I was so worries and stressed out. My period was almost 3 weeks late! Thankfully I started but we are NOT ready for a baby right now especially with all this COVID-19 stuff going on. Anyways we neither one can actually enjoy sex with condoms and every time we try we end up just taking it off and throwing it away 10 seconds later. I have no heath insurance but seriously need some form of birth control that is so cheap it could potentially be free, any suggestions???
