Hi, has anyone done ECV or thinking of doing it? I am 37+4 and my baby is still breech. Doctor explained options to me today after positioning scan. I would love to go for natural birth if baby is safe and right position of course, but in this case I want to make sure I tried everything I could and C-section will be my last choice. Baby’s head is up, on the right hand side, facing my back. Placenta is at the right place following scan from 1st Apr and fluid level was ok too. I am not sure on ECV, but it is an option, I am a bit worried it will be uncomfortable for baby as it’s not a natural way. I tried few other methods and exercises for baby to turn head down position and still believe baby can turn him/herslef but time is flying and I need to make a decision. What is your experience ladies, in case you have or had a breech baby, was it hard for you to decide? When did you make your decision (what week of your pregnancy)? Was it successful in the end - mean when you decide for ECV or you chose C-section instead? Thank you and stay all safe. X
