Help! Biting on blankets?
So, my little girl will be 5 months old in 8 days. She occasionally does this, but yesterday she did it a lot at night! So I laid her down for bed. She had her eyes closed, but was trying to eat the comforter! Kinda like when a sleepy baby looks for the nipple/bottle, but she wanted the blanket. She kept putting it in her mouth. I kept taking it away and she kept looking for it. She was not hungry because she kept rejecting the bottle. She always blows A LOT of raspberries. Every day, almost all day, it’s been going on for about a month or so. She’s not a baby that cries, but for the past 2 weeks, she’s been crying at times or when she can’t sleep. She is my first, so don’t know a lot about babies, but is this a sign of teething?
SIDE NOTE:* My baby sleeps in her crib. Not with us. The blanket I only give her to go to sleep when I AM IN THE BED WITH HER* she does not sleep with a blanket in her crib or anything that can pose a hazard to her.
