i’m considering buying this house however i can’t stand this giant island/entertainment center in the middle of the kitchen/living room. it’s so ugly to me and i don’t like the idea of having the TV basically on the floor. just feels outdated.

how much do you think it would cost to get rid of it? if that would even be possible?

or what could i do to make it feel less awkward,

i would want to put the tv above the fireplace but then there’s not really anywhere for a couch

there’s already an island in the kitchen too so it’s just super unnecessary??
