My son had his two week check up yesterday and he weighed 6lb 10oz and his birth weight was 7lb 5oz. The doctor had me go ahead and feed him and then we weighed him again to see how much he ate and he had eaten 5 oz and this is after I had just fed him an hour before. The doctor asked if he spits up a lot or has diarrhea and he doesn’t. We are going back on Monday to check his weight but it’s really confusing because he eats really well and I have a good supply but I don’t know if maybe my milk just isn’t fatty enough. Does anyone have any tips for helping baby put on weight? Or any ideas on what could be causing him to not gain weight, I asked the doctor but he didn’t really give me a straight answer.
