Dying Hair during Pregnancy Safe?

It’s my first pregnancy. Currently 5 weeks 5 days. Is it ok to dye your hair? Or should I wait longer?

I would probably wait until after the first trimester. That’s just my opinion though.

My OB told me with my first it was totally safe - just make sure you’re not breathing in chemicals and you are 100% certain on what you’re getting done because apparently when you’re pregnant you don’t have the best judgment 😂 (I think the last part was more of a joke and not actual medical advice)

I did throughout my first pregnancy but I waited til I was over 12 weeks and was in a well ventilated area :)

Yep. This is my 5th pregnancy and I have done it. It’s not the dying the hair part that’s dangerous it’s the being in a ventilated area that’s important.
