Hcg returning to normal

Erin

For those of you who have had a chemical pregnancy/very early miscarriage... when did your hcg return to 0? I had lab work done on Tuesday- it was 39, they told me to use at home pregnancy tests every other day until they’re negative- I’ll go back for another lab draw late next week if they’re still positive. Just wondering how long I should expect this to take. Thanks!

The bottom test is from today, which just has me worried because it looks a lot darker.... I don’t know what to think.

@Erin I’m so sorry I’m just now responding to this! The shot worked, slowly. And then I developed cysts and was put on BC for a month. I just barely had my first regular cycle since February. 😅 how are you doing?

I wanted to see how tour injection went? They diagnosed me today with an ectopic, so I’m set to go in tomorrow. How are you feeling with all of this?

I’m sorry you’re going through this, too. It really sucks. I had very heavy bleeding and passed lots of clots and tissue, so I’m hoping I don’t have an ectopic 😔 I felt like I should have been early enough to have avoided that.

I had a loss at 6 weeks and I bled for 2 months after taking misoprostol to initiate MC. Last level checked was 24 and when I no longer had positive HCG my cycle came immediately

I had 2 MC’s gestational age of loss was 6wk and 8 wk. Times it took 3 weeks for my levels to be within normal range and my period started again right around that time as well.

It depends on how far along you are. First mc at 10.5 weeks it took about 3weeks total, got my period after 5 weeks.I had a chemical this week and took a pregnancy test the day I started bleeding (should have been five weeks) and it was negative (I'd had several positives from 4 weeks on)

I logged it as a period in this app... A loss this early isn't likely to mess with your cycle or anything. But if you continue to have a positive after you stop bleeding you should contact your doctor because you may have retained something

So, I had a positive test at 4weeks, and then I started my period at 4 weeks 5 days. (Last Saturday). Do you count this as your period? During my first miscarriage I was much further along and it took around 3 weeks, as well. I’m just still surprised it’s showing positive 😔

I miscarried at 7.5 weeks, spotted/bled for 2 weeks, just had my period return 4 weeks and 2 days, from the day I stoped bleeding from the miscarriage. But I know this can range person to person.
