So I made a post about my husbands stimulus check was sent out but my bank account wasn’t showing it. He uses my bank because his account is closed, so I called my bank today, they told me the bank rejected the check because it didn’t have my name on it. They suggested that I should call the IRS to ask them why it was rejected etc. I called the IRS but nobody answering the automated assistance said they can’t get me to an agent because of reduced staffs. So how can I talk to an IRS agent about my husband stimulus check? The bank said that he should receive a check in the mail, but the IRS said the paper checks will take months to receive 😔 we was depending on this check to get our own place, we currently live with my in laws. And to help with getting my son a bed to sleep on and other baby Necessities. What can I do now??
